1. The object of the Treasure Hunt is to complete as many clues as you can within 4 hours.
2. This is primarily a walk/run event.
3. Participants must have at least 1 camera phone with active internet connection. Pictures may be used for proof.
4. No age limits or age restrictions-all ages welcome! If children get involved in this treasure hunt, make sure they are always supervised.
5. The first person to complete all the clues and return to home base by 2PM wins the hunt.
6. Playing Fair - Have fun and try to win, but don’t let your competitive instincts drive you to ruin other peoples’ chances to win. If you do, you will be disqualified. That means no sabotaging, lying, cheating, stealing, or copying other people’s work.
7. Some items may also be questions that require an answer (no picture needed, unless specified).

1. If You Fight the Law - the Law Wins. You’re here to have fun but do so legally. So here it is. If you break any rules at any time during any portion of the Treasure Hunt, you will be disqualified. This includes, but is not limited to, moving violations, trespassing, burglary, larceny, embezzlement, grand theft, petty theft, shoplifting, assault, plagiarism, blackmail, indecent exposure, having a concealed firearm, brandishing a weapon, bribery. Seriously, if you get so much as a speeding ticket, you lose.
2. Once you have submitted your answers, you cannot add or change the information.

1. Late Loses: You must return to home base (behind Old Treasury Building, Port Zante) no later than 2PM to be considered for review.
2. Appeals: There are no appeals process in this Treasure Hunt. There is also no crying. There’s no crying in Treasure Hunt! All decisions by the judges are final. No exceptions.

1. Participants must present themselves to the event staff by 2:00pm or earlier, to qualify for prizes.
2. The person with the most challenges completed wins. If participants tie for completed challenges, time will be the tie breaking factor.
3.    In the case that no-one completes all the challenges, the organizing committee reserves the right to make the final decision.

1. In consideration of the permission to participate in the SKMF Treasure Hunt 2022 (referred to as “the event”), the below listed members agree to release and hold harmless The Ministry of Tourism, The St. Kitts Music Festival Committee and VhCommunications and the associated volunteers and sponsors thereof from all liability for personal injury, death, property damage or loss, or any other loss resulting from or arising out of my participation in the event.
2. Participation in the event includes but is not limited to the risk of death or serious injury such as driving to/from various locations in the Basseterre and surrounding area, or the conduct of other participants, including their negligence or willful misconduct.
3. I certify that I will abide by all rules and regulations of the event. I further acknowledge that failure to abide by all safety rules and the direction of staff or volunteers may result in my being disqualified from participating in the event and forfeiting eligibility for event prizes.
4. I also agree to release the event and its volunteers and sponsors from any and all liabilities, claims, and causes of action, based on or arising from negligence or gross negligence on the part of its agents, volunteers and employees.
5. I acknowledge that I have read and understood the provisions of this release and understand that it is binding upon myself and my assigns, heirs, executors, beneficiaries, family members, and derivative claimants. I further acknowledge that I have no medical history or condition that would preclude me from participating in the event.
6. Limitations of Liability: Each participant agrees (i) to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the VhCommunications SKMF Events Committee which are final and binding on all matters relating to the event, and (ii) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the The Ministry of Tourism, The St. Kitts Music Festival Committee and VhCommunications and volunteers and cosponsors from any & all claims, actions, and/or liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or for entry into the event, any related activities, or acceptance or use of any prize won.
